MANIFESTO OF SUPPORT
FOR MR. ANTHONY GREG F. ALONZO*
Early this Friday morning, July 18, 2008, MR. ANTHONY GREG F. ALONZO, a faculty member of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy of AMA Computer College-Makati Campus was notified by school authorities that he is terminated as a faculty member of the College effective immediately. He was barred from entering the premises of AMA. He was prohibited from attending his classes at the middle of the trimestral period.
These actions are manifestations of an unjust, unfair and inhuman system. He was terminated without due process as required by law. He was not given any written warning or reprimand prior to his dismissal as stipulated in the Faculty Manual of AMA Education System and as required by law. The Human Resource Department of AMACC-Makati issued certification and documents that would prove that he did not violate the company policies on tardiness and absenteeism but some school authorities, because of their inhuman treatment to their faculty members, driven by their selfish motives, ignored these pieces of evidence.
School officials allowed Mr. Alonzo to teach since May 19, 2008. They allowed him to sign the Teacher’s Contract but until now, he has not received his salary. They willfully violated the right of a teacher as provided in Article 103 of the Presidential Decree 442, otherwise known as the Labor Code of the Philippines, which states that: “Wages shall be paid at least once every 2 weeks or twice a month at intervals not exceeding 16 days.”
We are calling the school officials of AMACC-Makati Campus to reconsider their decision. It’s time for them to pay attention to issues such as this. We know how dedicated Mr. Alonzo is to his work. We know how effective he is as an instructor. We know how good he is as a person.
We are not against the entire AMA Education System. We are against some school officials who manipulate people to accommodate their own selfish motives.
It’s time for us to get united in this crisis. We give our full support to Mr. Alonzo.
No to unjust and illegal dismissal of Mr. Anthony Greg F. Alonzo!

how can we support?
I can not deny the fact that AMA Makati Campus has always been a spotlight of issues like these. It means that there really has something to investigate on. I feel so sorry for Mr. Alfonso, i have heard a lot of sad stories about instructors being maltreated at AMA Makati College Campus. Hope this one gets what it deserves.
Mga bagong teacher’s dyan marunong nadin baket panu impluwensya ng iba… kelan ba matatapos e2! Ung mga tao na nagtatanggal sa kanila cla rin pla numero uno kurakot matatalino mga yan idadaan sa students para clear san ka nakakita ng EUTHENICS subject 100 per head! Kung close ka pa sa kanya 500 per head yan pero ilan lng nabiktima nyan! Sino nasa likod ng mga E2. may nagutos ba cno nakinabang?
May teacher na nag resign recently lng baket nga ba dahil ginawan ng issue na hindi nman nla alam ang buong istorya akala ka c nla malaki ang nakubra napera nung teacher dinila alam nagkamali cla nang akala. Mga gumawa ng tsimis para masira ang kawawang teacher aun clapla numero uno na kurakot kawawa nman ung teacher na un walang ginawa kundi mag trabaho at gumawa ng activity para sa students nagresign nlng cia para matahimik na buhay nya asan kna ba maam? Sana nagsalita ka nlng sa lahat ng Alamo kung alamong tatanggalin kanadin? Baket takot ka na madamay cla? Hindi mo ba alam na cla may pakana para ma tanggal ka…. Kawawa knman wala kang malay malay sa nangyari sau…
Sa mga taga H.O kung may makabasa investigate kau? Naku nman sana ayusin nyo mga tinatanggal nyo mga ugat plang un at ung iba wala nman tlgang kinalaman tsk tsk pano kahit saan may Kurakot tlga!……
Sana lhat ng sinabe ko mag sibling aral at bumaon sa icip nyo mga e2 at sana wag matakot na mag share ng saloobin nyo about AMA!

Hindi tama ang ginawa nyo kay Sir Anton! Isa siyang mabuting prof at tao he deserve some respect. Ginagamit ang mataas na posisyon para magtanggal ng prof!? Tao ang mga yan hindi hayop! May mga karapatan at damdamin! WALANG HIYA talaga ang pamamalakad ng AMA-MAKATI!
Dapat palitan na yang School Director! Baguhin ang sistema at ituwid ang pagkakamali! Ang TABA mo na, mas malakai ka pa sa kotse mo!
TAMA!!! mga kurakot yang mga yan!! ang lakas ng loob nyo magtanngal ng prof?!! bakit kayo ba nagbabayad sakanila???!!! **CK magisip kayo!! mga magulang namin nagpapakahirap magbayad! tapos biglaan pag iincrease niyo ng TUITION FEE???!!! take note! kung kelan Midterm na sa nagtaas ng tuition!! UNFAIR naman samin na nagbayad ng cash!! mga tanga kau! kaya nga kami nagbayad ng cash para wala ng intindihing bayarin!! hindi sa marami kaming pera! tapos MAGTATANGGAL KAYO NG PROF????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IKAW KUNG ALAM MONG IKAW ANG DAHILAN, BAKIT HINDI NALANG IKAW ANG UMALIS???!!!!

Ganyan po talaga AMA Educational SYSTEM. PWedeng hindi lahat pero 99.99% po ng campus ganyan patakaran. Disposable po mga teachers at usually nangyayari yan near the completion of the teachers 3rd year with the campus. Wala po nangyayari sa mga reklamo dahil malakas si AMAble kay GMA.
